MSD distributor on 356/912

Has anyone used the MSD VW distributor on a 356/912 engine? I am setting one up now on my '69 912. Have modified the MSD holddown/clamp so it would work with the Porsche.
Will post results/problems, etc.

Several folks on 356talk have used the Pertonix (sp?) system. One of the problems is that on a 6v car, with a low battery, you don't get enough oomph to start the car. Since your 912 is 12v, I don't think you'll ahve a problem.
