356 Euro speedometer questions & pics

Hi everyone,

I have stumbled onto what appears to be a European 356 speedometer. Being a 911/930 person, I know very little about the 356. Can any one tell me what I have by looking at these photos? Is it anything special and is it worth much?

Your Speedometer looks the same as the one in my Porsche 356, I believe that the date of manufacture is stamped on the back: 11.62, meaning Nov of 1962. that would be for a 356B model. I bought a used one here in Canada, where we changed speeds to kilometers, so it is handy not having to convert from miles per hour. So I think that you may find interested parties in Canada. The value, from $ 100- $150, I think.
