Wouldn't you think they would pay to have it hauled away.

arrr but you see with Evil bay it's not 100% straight forward..

You see I have bought a car before for $6500 and when the owner sold it on ebay ( because he didn't know how to stop it old guy ) it sold for $9100 but you know what he never heard from the guy it's not all cut and dry with a car sale on Ebay.

Also like a guy I know who has just paid $30,000 for a resto 911S that is a record price... but you know what he earns £500K a year $750,000 so $30k is nothing.. he wanted it he had the money he didn't have time to keep looking and getting messed about he just wanted it and would have paid $40K for it if he needed to.

He has 3 others.. he loves the cars and can aford them. The Pre A well that's good money sure esp with a VW engine. over the top yes as I have details of a 53 for $8000 and it has an orginal engine.

What you have to remember is that not every one in the world has nothing in the bank. I know one guy ( I run a small interiors company here that's how I know him ) has so much money he has paid two guys to work it for him and they get paid with a bonus about £1,000,000 a year each!! the fund is in excess of £250,000,000 to play with.. he drives a beat up old BMW because he can park it anywhere and not worry and no body knows how much money he has. Mind you he has a F*** off big house and about 8 classic cars.. and these guys come to his house in a huge office he built for them with screen every where with stock prices wizzing around all the time.. he jokes how much you made me today boys!!

Another car I know is a 53 for sale here the guy who wanted to buy it sent his mechanic and the body man to look at the car... nothing odd in that you think... they are a 3hr drive away from the car . he sent them his Helicoper and flew them there to see the car!!!!! this guy never left his office!! he just wanted a 1953 Classic Porsche 356
The car was £45,000 the restoration was going to cost £90,000 all he wanted to know was when can i drive it..

912UK,
It is a pity, first that we don't have the millions and that those who do have the quid are driving prices straight to h... !
