61-62 356 notchback

I have found a 356 notchback in rough but restorable condition with no engine. I know they made only 2,300 of these, which puts them on the rare side, but are they desirable? Is it worth doing a complete restoration or just make it a driver? I think they are kinda ugly, but I can get it cheeeap.

Don't do that. A few of us like those cars. Please pass on the info to me. Do you want a finder fee? Reply direct to sassngram@knology.net with the info, price & any pics. Thanks. Appreciate it.

I knew that my comment would ruffle a few feathers. If he doesn't take my low ball (500.00) offer I will be glad to pass it on.

I've had one for years and years. Restored it in '75 and thought it would support my son's college education this year. Not so! Cute/ugly car but not an investment. Maybe in another 20 years.....
