Rear license plate light
Hello all! First post, first foray into the world of classic cars - jesus!
I bought a late 356c in solid condition last year, and it's been sitting in my garage for most of the time since - it's been a horrible year weather wise! Anyway, the last few weeks I've had some free time and I've spent it mucking about with it! I'm amazed at how modern it feels; there's a real solidity to it, and it hangs on impressively! Anyway, after looking over the internet and these forums, I've decided I have to make an attempt at an outlaw look! Bumpers came off immediately, and a few bits and bobs were ordered. The main issue though is the rear license plate light - obviously they were on the bumper (or fender? not up to scratch with my american), and with that off I can't drive it (legally) at night. What solutions are there? I don't want it to look cluttered if possible - there's already the rear lights, reversing light, and 2 reflectors - I don't really want another big thing... But if I have to I have to. What solutions have you guys gone with? I'd really appreciate any information and links going. Thanks |

I never come in this section, so if you need more info, PM me, or I'll miss it...but...
I removed the bumpers/lights on my 911, and put a lighted license plate holder on. Found a nice billet version, but there are a few if you do some searching. I used this one: Billet Aluminum License Plate Holder With Light It's actually quite discrete: ![]()
