Hi all,

I am installing my new engine and I would like to install new nuts for my new exhaust. I would like to know wich nuts are recommended ? Standard M10 ones ? Or may be cupper ones ?

Many thanks !

I believe you will find the original nuts for the muffler to cylinder head are steel M8x1.25 with a 12mm size hex.

Try a Audi part number 900 850 01
That is what ******** will get for you IF you ask for the copper nut, it is the correct m8 with 12 mm hex also has a raised crown on side away from flange that has been slightly deformed for anti vibration.
Should be able to source world wide, I have a few spares in the Audi Bag.
let me know If you need pics of the nut.

Regards

Sorry to mention those Porsche folks that sell parts in OHIO.
