Marchal 660 and 662 reproduction lights for 356

The same contact in Europe who supplies our reproduction Cibie hood lamps is now producing very good reproductions of the Marchal 660 and 662 lights. These were used on 356s back in the day.

They come with a replicated period box. Each light also comes with a standard white bulb, a yellow bulb and a special H1 bulb holder and bulb. Also included is the period correct foam padded cover.

Is there demand for these? They would sell for about $450 for the pair.

It's pretty quiet here and I only check in infrequently. They look very nice. One question, do they come with both driving light and fog light lenses?

Would I buy them? Maybe, but with all the other projects my 356 is waiting for, it would be fairly low on the list (I have some decent fog lights already).

What about the switch / relay ...how avaliable and how much ?

I had some originals on my 62 Cab and used the sig lighter hole for the switch.

I saw an article in Porsche 356 registry a pair of NOS sold for 580
it did note something about "scrip on the ring" .. what does that refer to ?

I bought mine about 2 years ago and paid quite a bit. I think you would have demand for them. The covers look like they are off of new tricked out pick up though. See attached, my sister in law made a set for me. This pic shows the one one the driver' side.

Hi. Back in the day these lamps were also available with rear fixing, ie the mounting stud protruded from the back of the lamp shell, do you know if these repro ones are also available with this type of fixing. Regards.
