356 C caliper detail?
I'm rebuilding the calipers in my '64. I need to know if these were plated to reduce rust and corrosion or are they bare?

Yes, they are plated. The original was most likely a clear zinc with a hint of yellow.

If you have not started all the work you may try your neighbor, CSP he has them complete in proper color, link attached, either way you get to lok at the correct color. Will (owner) has a passion for our cars and has LOTS of parts not available at the regular spots.

Porsche 356 C and 912 pretty much used the same rear caliper. You've got some of each on your car apparently. Not a problem. Regards |
