Pre-A temp VDO gauge ?

Just got this gauge... it's 356 style and I never saw it before ... may be an accessory for Pre-A ? or other period ?

I believe those were used on the later Porsche Junior tractors

This is an aftermarket VDO temp gauge and sender.

Aftermarket for Porsche ? I believe yes according the green lettering ... :confused:
