356 A 1957 from US

Hi all,

I'm in the market for a 356 A. I have the opportunity to buy a 356 A that was imported from US in 2008 (I live in Italy). Can someone give me any information about the following car? Onestly there is something odd with the story that the present owner is telling to me: he claims that he full restored the car, but he is not able to give me any evidence of works (like photos...ect..)

There are a few Italian members of the 356 Registry - I'd join them and ask on their forums
