Dimly lit turn signal indicator.

Is it normal for the turn signal indicator in the dash to be dimly lit when the switch is in the normal position? Note, lights are off. Indicator is lit dimly, then if switched either left or right, flashes okay. Looks strange, but I don't know much about 356's.

Thanks,
Doug Clauder

Hello

You can see it often i think it is caused by the flasher relay.
Also the rearlights can have bad ground, if you press the barke it is a bit brighter ?

Then you also could have a hazard switch wo hasn´t a dual combination layout ( Contact 54f )

Also the instrument could see not enough ground and use the flash control lights as a path.

Grüsse
