Porsche 356 beutler ex-Grace Slick
 

I am trying to write a little history of this car, which was last offered by Road Scholars, a restoration shop. It is blue with a faux grille in front and was built for a Duke. I was wondering if anybody has a copy of the ad offering it for sale or knows what it sold for when it was just an old Porsche and nobody was looking for something like a Beutler?

IIRC there were only a few Beutlers out in the world, 2 of which are still with the Beutler family. Several years ago there was lots of discussion on 356talk about it - don't know if the mail archives are still available on the 356Registry site or not...

There was a pretty good article on this car in Excellence a few years ago. Might want to look that one up for reference.

If anybody knows what Grace Slick advertised the Beutler for sale for
or what it was bought for or even the next couple of owners, what they ran ads advertising it for, I'd like to know that. Not intersted in the current price, I'm only interested in the past. Thanks,
