value help for 60 T5 cab
Hey fellow pelicans,
Need help re:value on a nice solid driver I'm looking at. Good 60's cab T-5 with solid longi's and newer floors, period non match super eng. color change to red with a nice driver quality paint job. Some dings and small dents and chips, rust bubble on fender edge and little bondo at door bottoms skin, "Auto's Inter". seats and door cards, new square weave carpet, no visible accident damage, good gaps, ugly vinyl top, Many Stoddard repo parts...glass, chrome wheels mirrors, etc. Rust bubble bumperetts and interior chrome, non kink hood, drives nice with typical P car oil leaks. no book or tools or records, but long term owner. I've seen all those auction results for restored cars and this ain't one of dem. good 10 footer! Any help greatly appreciated re:$$ SmileWavy |
$80.k
One question would be: how much to get her into top shape? and what then wouls she be worth? I missed out on the 356 open version years ago, too bad they are alot of fun. Good luck |
Yes exactly...what price success. I see the best in the world going for $127k fully done with documents etc...and the roadsters are more popular too, and bring a little more $$.
Thanks turbo for the input!! |
It seems like it's a seller's market for 356s and early 911s right now and the market will pay strong numbers if the car is widely advertised. I just sold my 356 which I owned for 20+ years and am astonished how much these cars have taken off in the past few years. $80K seems like the right price to buy it but I wouldn't be surprised if a driver quality "10-footer" open top 356 would trade for $100K in the right auction today.
I think the best in the world is higher than $127K as I've seen the best of the best coupes trade for 6-figures these days. |
