Thanks it's the Doc's doing. His attention to detail is exceptional. Looks like another week before I can pick it up. It's 250 miles from here in a rain every day for the last month continues through next week. I need a covered trailer I know.

That looks mighty fine! And no rain in sight for the next 10 days or so. Congrats!

I was supposed to get it 2 weeks ago but the rain was ever present here and in Oklahoma. I've never really noticed a silver that changed so much with he lighting. Always silver was silver but this just glows and is deep deep. Gluing in the door seals, new hood seal and dieing the carpet back to black. Maybe even saving the headliner which is stained and faded. I've heard of paint or dye for that too. Any suggestions?

While the rear window is out I want to fix this right. It looks like something is missing behind the rear of the leather?

That rear piece should be a single piece, not two pieces. Additionally, it was heavily padded between the firewall and the leather/vinyl, which is backed by cardboard and is pretty padded/uphostered by itself.

I found out 63's came with a rear window de-mister. The old guy who did that actually covered that de-mister hoop with the leather rear seat back. Not sure why but I knew it wasn't right to start with. I picked hime to do the work because he was the only guy in town that would do the headliner. He had the car over a year and was in poor health the entire time. I thought he would die before he was finished. I was just happy to get it back at the time.

I have a piece of leather I'm going to cover it all up with so it will look ok. I'm not a concours type of guy so it will suit "me" just fine.

Today's project was stuffing heavy foam in each spring hoop in the front seats. Totally transformed the seats to like new.

3 weeks to get it and it's the wrong one. These guys are a national installer that comes to your house. Supposedly had to come from Germany. I called Stoddards and they have the right one in stock. Our host probably has them too😉
