Post Hanging a rear clip and welders

My cab needs the rear clip replaced. I have the clip coming to me and my question is,
How does one do this exaclty?

Cutoff clip and then measure and cut replacement clip to match?

Also, any idea what a lincoln 250 wire welder is worth used?

Hello

First to check if you have the correct rear piece. Watch if the lower edges are formed the same way.

Renewing the rearend is relativly simple but needs skills.

Jig is not needed but a good eye and messure, messure, messure.

Mostly the rearends can be patched and reused.
You plasma cut the original unit away repair it and then reweld it.

Most aftermarked rear ends needs to be reformed to match the old form. Some are asymetrical.

This is done by the" eye" and the contour from the underside view. You also have to mount the bumper and check the hight from the lights.
