1975 2.7L Porsche 911SC Having Ignition Problems
Hi all,
I need some help on my porsche, I am having some engine problems with it. Let me try to explain as much as possible because I am not a very technical guy and help from the forum members will be very appreciated. The issue is when I start the car the engine is slightly hesitating and when I drive it and try to put it into gears there is a lot of hesitation/missing/shaking that i cant go above the second gear. I got it checked at a local workshop and I was thinking it might be the fuel mixture out of order, but it turns out that is fine, what seems to be the problem according to the mechanic is the Ignition Distributor Rotor which is causing the spark not be equally distributed and has asked me to order it which would take about a few days to reach in dubai via fedex. If you guys can shed some light up on the issue or have faced some kind of similar problems it would be of great help because I dont want to get in to ordering one part after another and have the car parked for the longest time to solve the matter, if there is anything else I should look into please advise. Much thank's |
