GMund coupe found in Sweden in 1980

I hope this picture I found on the net transfers. Looks like it was a pretty raggedy car when found in 1980, no doubt not running, that's why it's on a trailer. I wasn't following Gmunds back then, does anybody know whether this was a barn find? Though maybe Porsche prices weren't appreciating then and this was just sold as at the price of a used car not as a hunka, hunka hunka burning love...

the car was registered in Malmö at the time of the picture, you could email Road - transportstyrelsen.se and ask them. The Swedish authorities will be able to point you inthe right direction as EVEREYTHING is recorded and saved by the authorities.
They will tell you about every owner and everything about the car.

That's me in the red jacket!

The picture was taken in 1977. The car belonged to the Swedish Porsche importer.

I would stab a guess and say that judging by the crowd around the car, they knew it wasn't just any old Porsche!

Undoubtedly in a private collection by now or stuffed in the back of one of the many Porsche warehouses where they hide all the cool stuff~
