356 Carrera Bumper Mouldings/Deco Strips
Hi All -
My first post in the 356 world - please be gentle..... I have a 58 that had the bumpers removed. I located a set that have been modified - they were smoothed over, so no holes for the deco strips. My plan is to install them and use the simpler Carrera aluminum decos. I found both the strips and the fasteners at Sierra Madre: Decos: http://www.*********************.com/Accessories/Racing-And-Performance-Equipment/356-GT-Deco-Molding-p19148.html Fasteners: http://www.*********************.com/356-GT-Deco-Molding-Fasteners-p19056.html I stumbled across an older post that said this was not an easy job. Add in that my bumpers do not have holes and I thought it best to reach out for help. Does anyone have any experience installing these? If so, can I ask for some pointers? Thanks Very Much - Scott S

It's definitely not an easy job. While they look great, the deco comes as an extrusion, so you have to cut to length and fabricate the ends for it. It's pretty detailed oriented and very time-consuming, but if that's what you want--eyes open...
