Opinions on QSC and AA cylinder&piston kits?

Hi guys,

Has anyone tested the relatively inexpensive QSC or/and AA cylinder& piston kits (out of China?) Pelican sells for P 356?
Any comments?

+1 . Or Shasta. Bearings alone for a 356 engine are going to set you back over $500. And you are going to save money with a set of chinese P/Cs? Penny wise, pound foolish.

I'm running QSCs. I would consider throwing away the rings and buy good ones. I just bought a set of AAs for my next build. I hear lots of guys run the AAs without issue. If I was going to build a race engine I might spend more. What are Shasta's? Chinese cylinders and USA pistons? You can buy AAs with JE pistons too.
