Brey-Krause fire extinguisher mount - work with Recaro PP?

Tried to install this today but I have a sub belt mount under my seat for the 6 point harness that interferes. Anybody get this to work with a similar setup?

If not I have the option of mounting to the roll bar I guess, although it’s heavy so not excited about the high mount location.

I had the other version installed with Recaro Pole Position seats. They worked great.

I have since removed the entire set up and it just sits in my garage. If you can't figure out how to mount that particular style, feel free to shoot me a DM and I'll sell it to ya.

Cheers.

Ok thanks, my concern is it looks like you have a different slider mechanism. See pics

I think yours might interfere.

I had a similar, but not the same, Brey Krause bracket. We made little extensions so it would clear the slider on the racing seats. Pic here:

Anyone try mounting one of these brackets behind the seats? I wound up removing mine because it was annoying not being able to slide the seat forward more than a couple of inches. Didn't think of think of mounting it behind until later.

Good idea, but could hurt accessibility if you are strapped in

If you are strapped in with a harness, you wouldn't be able to reach it in front of the seat either.
