Server Performance...

Okay, I made some changes to the memory settings on this server last night. Seemed that the default configuration made the server think it only really had 128MB instead of the 1 GIG that I installed. As a result, the number of slow queries is down to about 17 in the past 17 hours or so (kindof normal).

How does it feel for everyone else? It's very important to stay on top of this, otherwise the server may blow up one day...

I did have problems with pulling up pics from posts over several months old. Not all threads but some.

I don't really notice it at work because we have a T-1 line, but on my dial-up at home, big difference. Much better!
