stainless 2 in two out exhaust on stock early 911
My redneck Mustang ways of my youth are sneaking out...I will need a muffler on my 69 E in the near future and I am considering a two in two out stainless set up like Tweeks shows in its catalog for Carrerras and maybe SCs. I would want the right tip to match the left one and I have no problems cutting the bumper on that side. I am not interested in a sport exhaust with the two pipes coming straight out. Is there a product out there that matches up with the flanges on my stock heater boxes? Will there be any compromise or gain in performance? While the exhaust is a small part of the expense, I am saving my quarters for a 3.2 conversion. Is there a dual exhaust I can purchase for my 2.0 that will work on a 3.2?
Thanks for the input.

Talk with Jon at EBS Racing (Reno, NV). When I ordered their 2x2 sport muffler, I was given the option of matching left and right outlets or dual center straight rear pipes. The do the conversion work themselves. I got mine with the straight RS type - they're loud and I'm happy.

This is the so-called cowhorn configuration. I believe you saw the Dansk stainless 2in-2out muffler. The two tailpipes are included but separate (not sure) so you can weld and match them to your openings (one old, one new) on either side.
