Leland is still without Intenet service but wants to ask questions. For accuracy's sake, I'll just reprint his note. I'll send the pic to Jack for processing/development:

We should communicate with this man who is in the desert doing our dirty work. Those who want his e-mail or mailing address should send me a note.

Superman, I just e mailed Leland some storage tips, simple stuff that could be done to ensure the car firing up after his return. Same stuff I do to my "garage queen" every winter. Does NOT involve much mechanial work...doesn't Leland know anybody close enough to give his car a "visit"? Just STABIL in a topped off gas tank and then run the car 5-10 minutes, to get it completely thru the system. Then hook up a 1.5 amp charger, one of those that reads the battery, turns itself on & off. If ANYBODY out there is near Leland's car, could do this? It would be ready to go when he got home. Anybody?

I emailed him last night, but I'll email him the below as well:
Storage tips.... Well often whilst I'm over here (the US) my 911 sits outside at a Heathrow car park for 3 months. I fly back. Jump start it (battery always flat, but I disconnect it too). It always runs fine, I jump in and drive it 230 miles home. 911s aren't that fragile. http://www.pelicanparts.com/ultimate/smile.gif
My BMW Alpina was often left similarly and that used just start, like the 2nd turn of the key, when I used to come back off Tour

Please email me his address! I definitely want to send him some goodies...
carrera_cabriolet@yahoo.com

Also, any information I need for sending and weights include it in the letter. Thanks...I want to show support for our PP boy over there...but without an address, it's tough.
