Distributor advice needed...

hey folks...I'm hoping someone can help me with some info.

In my quest to re-do my ignition system, I've run into a road block. My car, a '73E, has a 2.7 engine, which uses a '67 case, I'm told.

In getting the number off the distributor, I discoverd that the distributor is from a 67T and L. Uh oh!

The engine has Weber IDAs, Solex grind cams, if I remember right, SS heat exchangers, and a sport muffler. Roughly 9.0 compression.

So...what is the appropriate distributor? And a good source for it? I would prefer post '72 items to allow the option of the Pertronix Ignitor.

Thanks in advance for any help!

I would get a 2.7RS dizzy.. Pelican Parts should have them for less than $300/great price.. the curve should be perfect for carbs and early solex
