1972 911Toil tank return line connection
 

the attached pet diagram shows that the connection to the return line on this oil tank is a hose at the tank, a hard line, then another rubber hose to the oil cooler.connection. see 31 and 32
my hard line has a fitting that attaches to the oil tank then i would assume to the s-hose that connects to the oil tank.
i am not sure what is correct.

I had the wrong line. The. 72 is brass and does not have a fitting it for the tank it is connected via hose clamps
