New fiberglass bumper, no blinkers

OK, 2nd electronics neophyte question re my ‘86. Installed blinkers in new front fiberglass bumper. Marker lights work properly so I have a good ground. No blinkers. No power to either LF or RF fuse. When I took the car off the road 7 years ago, everything worked just fine with the fiberglass Ruf style bumpers I was using back then.

The only variable that’s changed is that as part of gutting the car to convert to track, I removed the center console. Would the fact that there’s no hazard switch in the wiring anymore cause this? I’m thinking yes since my very limited knowledge of reading schematics indicates 12V power running through this switch. If that’s the case, how should I rewire to get the blinkers to work?

As the hazard switch does affect the blinkers but not the running lights, Ithink you’re on the right track. Probably have to trace the 12v source into the switch and reconnect to the blinker circuit.

I have no plans to reinstall the center console or the hazard switch. My novice reading of the schematic for an '86 would seem to indicate that if I jump the terminals 15 & 49 on the hazard switch plug itself, that would provide ignition-switched power to the blinker relay. Am I reading that right?

Yes. That is in effect like having the emergency flasher switch installed but not activated.

I can confirm that the signals do not work if you do not have the hazard switch installed. BTDT when I was relocating mine.
