fuel injector seals
hi . in another thread I started I couldn't get my 1985 911 to start. it turns out it was a few stuck injectors. im sure they are the original seals. from what I read on the reviews of the injector seals pelican sells. the top hats aren't the right size. has anyone used them. if they aren't the right size, where can I buy them?

Hi try looking for a bosch fuel injector seal kit. I did this and found the o rings and top hats and filters etc to be the same. I felt a little annoyed that adding Porsche to the name changed the value of the kit. I not sure why your top hats are different. I must have done 3 sets of injectors and have found no issue of different sized top hats
There is also a fuel injector cleaning kit for about 10 bucks on ebay. Works a treat. Just wear the right safety glasses - learnt the hard way.... it hurt. |

I ended up going to the expensive route. I took all 6 to be cleaned at a local diesel injector place. $20 a piece got me them cleaned with new seals and filter screens.
