Fuel Line Replacement

Hello,

I'm looking for tips. I do want to change fuel lines and hoses for safety reason to my 911 1974 2700. Which ones do you recommend to change? There are a lot of hoses..I'm confused...
Here is a part list diagrams:

My first concern would be fabric lines replaced. They will be hard and non flexible.
If not in 74, shortly after the lines went to metal and hard plastic.
Most important is the fuel pump produces about 100PSI before the fuel distributor.

Ok thanks!
Could please indicate the number and the reference diagram of the components to replace? so It will be easier for me to buy the spare parts.

So your car is a 1974? Does it still have the fuel pump mounted in the rear? That PET diagram is for the later cars. Starting in 1976 or 1977 the pump moved to the front.

This makes a big difference, as the fuel lines in the tunnel are low pressure if the pump is in the back but high pressure with the pump in the front.

The 1974 tunnel lines are nylon and I believe the originals should be replaced. They changed the lines to polyamid in 1975 but the early nylon lines get brittle.

See this thread, especially the later posts on this by BoxsterGT. Many of us in the US have bought the replacement fuel lines he fabricates, but I don’t know if he will ship international. Some of your lines may no longer be available from Porsche.
Question - Fuel Line Size

Hello Mark,

thank you for your message. You are right, I have the fuel pump on the rear and the PET I posted before does not refer to MY74 cars. I'm going to contact Len strightforward.
