Question might buy '76S w/ 3.0

So there is this '76S with a '79SC motor that I am thinking about getting. I've had my mechanic do an inspection. This is what he and I found

on the negative side:

assembly around fresh air lever cracked,
rear hatch shock needs replacing,
no tire air pump,
passenger window very stiff,
broken door mount in driver door,
passenger door mirror got banged bent the door sheetmetal,
paint on hood and roof is faded, and
torn driver seat where bosters meet seat.

on the plus side:
the 3.0 motor,
no leaks,
compression on all cylinders between 142 and 148,
H4 headlight conversion,
under the dash factory air-conditioning
ludicrously complete records going back to the window sticker,
carrera tensioner,
turbo tie-rods,
15" Fuchs physically nice but polish a bit worn on spokes,
163,752 miles,
no rust, and
everything not mentioned seems to be in good shape.

I don't mind the faded paint. Since I don't have a garage, I'd feel guilty exposing a beautiful paintjob to the elements unitl we can buy a house.

Any thoughts? What would you guess it is worth?

10K - pretend you're in the Porsche game for status and/or looks, and I bet with the listed negative stuff, you might be able to get as low as 8.5K. If you play the engine side of it, you'll pay close to whatever the asking price even if the car isn't coming with the correct engine. For all intended purposes, this guy might've blown apart his 2.7 and found a decent 3.0. At any rate, you might offset what he might say is "an upgrade (which in most respects a 3.0 is), though you could say, "Hey, this engine isn't original, and that's what I want - an original car."

This strategy might work unless what you're looking at is really a Carrera 3.0. If so, I would expect 13K with all the "negatives."
