How to remove glass from doors

I currently have my power windows rolled all the way up...
Unfortunately my electrical is disconnected.

I need to take the doors off and don't want to risk doing so with the windows attached.

How do I remove the windows?

I think its just basically start taking the door apart. The inside panel, the felts and wipers at the bottom of the window opening and then the frame. Its not that many screws to remove really. Had mine all apart a few years ago for painting and that step was not extremely difficult.
The Bentley may even outline it.

I've removed the door panel and disconnected all the wiring. I didn't want to start pulling out window motors in fear of having the glass drop down inside the door.

I also wasn't sure if the window trim can be removed with the power window rolled up all the way.

The window frame can be removed with the window up, but you gotta be careful. That window will be very floppy at the top of it's travel like that. Have an extra pair of hands.

The trim is hard to remove with the window up, and you need the trim out to get the glass out.

Your safest bet is to run some alligator clips to the motor leads and run the window down...at least do so to get the trim off.

this.

i've found a fantastic power source for this is my Rigid cordless drill battery. it's small and light and has plenty of power. 18v is a little strong, as it moves the window pretty quickly. just be careful you don't send it to the stop and you should be in business.

Windows are a pain in the a## adjusting everything and will take hours removing and reinstalling if you havent done it before. If you are just doing it to take the doors off, Def run elec and get therm roilled down, that is very simple and you shouldnt have to worry about the glass moving the doors around while off. If you are taking the window and trim off for other reasons here is my process.

Would def get the windows down running wires to the motor even for this.
1. Wind down windows
2. remove window trim along slot.
3. Unbolt frame and pull it out
4. Window will slide on its track releasing a couple of knobs out of their slots and the window will come out of the top. The knobs are wider than the window slot with trim and will not pass through the trim.
