1975 911 carrear wheel chatter

HI I just had the engien removed secend and third gear replaced plus a new clutch now i have wheel chatter when i let out the clutch and turn the steering wheel. The mechanic does not know what it is can you help thanks ralph

Have you/he adjusted the cable any, and what do you mean by Wheel chatter?

if you have a factory lsd and are using synthetic gear oil they will do that at low speed turn from a dead stop, i have seen this many times in the past. what type of gear oil was in there before and what did your mechanic put back in. i would recomend swepco or kendall. just my 2 cents

Loose trans mounts can cause this.
