No Idle

1974 911 with webers will not idle. Before the start, I pump gas, car fires right up then dies. I have installed a new gas pump, filter, lines, cleaned up carbs and removed old gas. What am I missing?

Check fuel pressure. Pump may be defective, even Porsche Brand are a hit and miss.

will it stay running if you keep your foot on the gas

has it been sitting for a long time.

may need a carb rebuild.

I have 3 psi at the regulator.
