I'm pretty sure it was 80 degrees or so and rising during that photo.

Almost forgot! I cleaned up the lug nuts and powder coated them black as well as added 7mm and 14mm spacers right before we went (Did longer studs for the 14mm without removing the hub ). Here are some quick pics from final prep and the trip! We had a blast.

When I changed the oil, the drain plug had some debris magnetized to it. Does this look ok? This is my first time changing oil on one of these.

I wonder if there would be more airflow to the center and passenger side vent if the white colored 'Y' connector (shown in your photo below) is removed and separate hoses attached to the vents. Have you gave that any thoughts?

Also, are the screws for the Classic Retrofit bracket threaded into the blower case or is there a nut behind it? I forgot to check this out before I installed the A/C kit and have thought about replacing the Classic Retrofit bracket with a stock Bowden bracket.

Regarding the oil drain plug...I would take apart the oil filter to see if there are any abnormal metal debris. How many miles were driven since the previous oil change?

I have thought about it but not sure what the center vent attachment is like to that piece. I want to say it's not round so I'll have to play with that. I actually relocated the bracket closer in already. It does in fact have nuts on the end of those bolts. It's something crazy small like a 5.5mm lol

The oil change I did was the first time it's been changed under my ownership. Filter is gone so I will have to check that next time. It was approx 7k miles I think. I'll be changing it every year or 5k from now on.

Hi, Will, GREAT job on the electric A/C install. And that pic of you looking very happy in the car is suitable for framing. That should be on the cover of Excellence!

Been a little while since I've had time to tinker with the car. She needed a battery and I honestly think this has been a large part of why I've been struggling with the AC and keeping the voltage up. No messing around; I went with an Interstate AGM H8. Thing barely fit! I also attacked the UV and heat today and had Xpel Prime Plus 70% tint put on all the glass. It's a nano ceramic IR film. This should help keep the heat down and UV off the interior and my white Irish skin. Hoping the combination of these two items will make a big difference with the AC.

Tint drying in the sun this morning

The oil drain plug looks a tad suspicious but not enough to freak over. Change the oil in 3000 miles and check again to see if there is more, less or none.

Beautiful ride.
