88 Carrera Door Refurb advice

Hello,

I need to put new woofers and tweeters (Apline) in the doors of my 88 Cab.

Looks like I'll need to remove the door panel to get the plug and play Alpines connected.

In a "while you're in there" moment I was looking for advice on what else I should service so I don't have to remove the panels twice.

I was considering:

1. Door Stay Reinforcement and Door Stay Stop kits on each side (door fly open)
2. Electric mirrors on drivers side (right) isn't working, suspect it's the motor - worth replacing the control switch as well?
3. Brackets for tweeters are missing (as are grilles)

Anything else I should look for or service while in their (and prep for as I need to order parts)? I've noticed the electric windows are quite squeaky on going up and down? Locks are good.

TIA

How about the speed of the windows going up and down. Cleaning and greasing my window regulators made a world of difference for my car.

Speed appears to be okay - thanks Alex599 - what would you recommend greasing the regulators with?
