The problem with the mercedes source kit is that the internal seals of their converted bottle jack aren't compatible with a wide range of cleaning chemicals. A waste of money and wrecked quite a few injectors instead of saving them... a very expensive lesson.

Sorry to say I can't recommend.

The performance on a test stand under running conditions is the most important measure of how an injector is working, ie, is it dribbling or chirping and atomizing properly. IMO just buy new ones and be done with it, they were widely available for $110 or so but tariffs and the dropping USD will have driven that up a bit.

My experience with the MercedesSource kit is the same as Jonny's. Hope to resurrect them if I can get them professionally cleaned, but the diesel shops won't touch them.
