Silly mat question...

Replaced the mats in our ‘84...and would like to know the origin of the old ones.

Can someone identify these? Are they the OEM originals or aftermarket?

Apologies for the trivial posting, just would like to know...

They look like LLoyd mats to me.

Lloyd's was probably forced to stay clear of using the Porsche font for the lettering.

Not big news. Porschelist was forced (or it was strongly suggested) to change to Rennlist.

Thanks all, just wanted to make sure they weren’t something I should hang on to.

Btw, we are pretty happy with the brand P ones purchased thru Pelican... passenger side fit may need a little tweak, but they look “right” in the car and seem to be good quality.

Wait

I would hang onto those. My brown ones just like that have a tag on back of the driver mat along the lines of 'made by Lloyds / sold exclusively by porsche/audi dealers'.

Could be original dealer installed mats and about as close to original as you may get. Fit of my rears is dead on perfect - fronts: so-so.
