Installing pop-off valve

I've received my pop-off valve and I want to install it this weekend. I've seen comments on this forum about installing this only after removing the airbox as not drop in plastic shavings. The instructions say you can install it while the airbox is installed. What do you think?

I did mine in the car with an angle drill. Just vacume out the shavings. Also clean the area with solvent before glueing.

fit it tight, because the epoxy wants to gravity feed down the gap. don't run the engine until it sets. also, use a small mirror and look at the front area after it sets, to be sure there are no gaps in the glue which would cause an air leak. that plastic will do nothing to the engine if some small bits go thru. be sure to position the valve so it opens away from you.

Alrighty then, thanks for the advice guys...it seems like there's always somebody here to help out a brother P-car owner (even if he's a new owner) :)

We'll try it out this weekend and see how it goes.
