CIS Injector Groove

Upon trying to change the injector o-rings on my 1983 911sc engine I have noticed the car has the following CIS injectors. They have threads in place of where the o-ring groove should be...

Can I use these injectors? They had old crusty o-rings and silicone on them in the threaded area upon removal. The injectors were functioning great before and I would rather not spend the ~$300 to replace them all with new if I don't have to...

Hmm. Well that is strange. Does anyone know if there is a way I can continue using these? Is there some special seal I can use? The seals that came off were quite flat, but they may have just been old and terribly deformed o-rings. Or am I gonna need to find some new proper injectors?

Wcover91,

Use the correct fuel injectors. I will be back home in 2 weeks. Contact me if you would still need them. $15 per injector, tested and guaranteed to work.
