My ‘74 Middie Project. The Werks

Finished fabing up the Bumpers and LED Headlights last week. Did a basic tune and was able to make it to Werks.

Added Edit:
I'm 62. This is my first time working on a 911 and my first ever Porsche event with my own car. The people were amazing and very encouraging. It took me 3 years off and on between work and health issues to finish it. The car had small groups around through out the day. Again I want to thank everyone here for their wonderful comments. I am humbled. I showed my wife some of this thread. She got teary eyed. My thanks to all the great threads over the years that help us all and the great pool of talent and knowledge .

And, I really like your trunk set-up.

Can you share the details on the carpet kit?

Looks super clean and well-sorted.

Hi, I fabricated the parts on a small lathe and mill in my 2 car garage. The manifold is a reworked aluminum 964. I cut off the original throttle body and retained the Vacuum resonance flap it is controlled through AEM ECU. The whole system is tapered from 42 mm to 40mm Jenvey's to a final of 34mm. Linkage was done as well. It's a 3.0, 10.5.1 and cam set up for low to mid torque. Built more for reliability vs max HP as area I live has a lot of curvy bits.
Carbon fiber look is actually Hydro Dipping.
The whole package exhausts out of OEM 911 GT3 muffler.

Hi, The carpet is just plain old perlon trunk kit. I made some patterns and used masonite to smooth out the floor. My great wife did all the sewing on of the edging.
She did the firewall insulation in the engine compartment as well.

Hey, What can I say. I'm a child of the '70's. We need more Middie love. And Thanks!

Interior

Got some emails and PM's asking about inside. JWest Shifter, TransitBlu hooked up to Vintage Blaupunkt, Old Goosneck Equalizer
Red stitching theme all because of the signature Mark Donahue wheel I had for decades.
