Will Sachs/Boge front strut inserts from a '83 911SC fit in my '87 Carrera?
I bought these Sachs Super strut inserts for my 1983 911SC new about 10 years ago, used them for only a month, and decided to upgrade to Bilsteins becaues they were too soft riding.
Now I'm older and have a 1987 Carrera Cabriolet with original worn out Boges and would like the softer ride these offer. Will they fit? Last edited by G60SuperCharger; 08-28-2018 at 10:24 PM.. |

These Sachs will fit the (black) Boge strut.
Though I remeber a to centering ring to be needed as well. correct me if I'm wrong about the ring(?). Though, please make sure these 10 year old shocks really still do the job. You don't want to find out that they don't wehen the job is done and you'll have to start all over again.

They seem to work fine and don’t have any fluid leaks. Can these age out? All the wear parts are internal so I thing I’m ok.
