Round plastic French Part identification on top of cylinder 2?

Found this piece on top of cylinder two. CIS taken off.
Thought it might be of meaning.

SEV Marchal is usually an alternator part in the 911

That's the end cap (part of it) from a Marchal alt.

I changed my alternator a few years back. Sent it off to be rebuilt.
Must have been lost then.
