Raido/Base Problem
 

I have a 88 911 3.2. I have an Infinity baselink in the audio system and for the past 3 years has worked great. I now have a problem, with the REM hooked up there is a horrible base hum comming out of the unit. Disconnect the REM and the hum goes away.
Any clue what I should be checking?

Check the ground, if you have multiple grounds on your sound system it could transmit distortion or feed back. Use a volt meter to find the best ground point.

My Sub did that before I used the same ground the head unit used.
