Help with Fog Light on ‘85 911
Hello,
I have an 1985 911 with turbo flares welded on. I’m almost finished with my project but need some sort of fog light solution to make it complete. Any ideas? I’m leaning towards something that looks close to factory. The car has wiring for fog lights but the previous owner/s put on turbo flares and a new valence so I’m not sure what would fit. I really don’t have the time to do this myself. I’d love for someone to make this for me in exchange for money and fame ![]() Tyler ![]() ![]() ![]() |

IMO, without the whaletail, it would keep the lines clean if you kept it without the (useless) front fog lights.

Same opinion. I'm actually considering using an earlier valence on my 3.2 to eliminate the fogs.
Yours looks great as is.

unless you move towards modern fog lights, they tend to be useless..your front end looks great as is!

Banned but not out, yet..

I use my useless fogs as daytime running lights so they have a real function.
Just order some 1982 fog lights which are very easy to mount and find a shop to wire them Should take an hour tops.

Ok, thanks. I get that they are useless. I just always figured the car was a little naked without them.

I have a set with mounts if you want. PM me. I was running them as DRL’s.

I agree with no fog lights, keep it smooth a body shop can weld the holes and reform and smooth the valence ....

Your car appears to have an SC or earlier valance? - An 85 would have had the integrated fogs which in my opinion look pretty good and finish things off nicely.
