Garage
wiring question / manual to electronic speedo and trans

The car is a 1974 with a manual speedo.

I recently spent a large sum of money on the original 915 with mechanical speedo to be rebuilt.

In the process I came across a 915 with LSD and a few different gear changes I would like to pick up, however it is a later style electric speedo

I am assuming I just run two sensor wires into the back of the new electric speedo, plus the ground and power.

Am I missing anything?,,,,

Nope, you're not missing anything. That's exactly what I did to fit a later, electric speedo transmission in my '74.
