Spacers for an '87

I have 6s and 7s Fuchs. 205/225 RE-71Rs. 1987 narrow body.
Suspension is essentially Turbo/ROW.
I would like to put on spacers front and rear to get the stance just right.

Suggestions re: type/size of spacers, front and rear; length of studs required, etc. greatly appreciated.

TIA!

something I have done was measured the distance from the top of the tire to the edge of the fender... and then created a small wooden plated of that same size... drilled some holes for the lugs and put on my hub and mounted the wheel to give me and exact visual.

Seems like a lot of work, but this allowed me to get an EXACT size spacer to make the wheels fit just right.

If your 87 is narrow body stock and you are wanting a spacer this one for the rear moves the wheel out just enough without any rubbing using stock 7s and stock tires. I believe some have gone larger but this seems just perfect for my liking. I ordered this kit from our host.

I went with 28 mm H&R DRM out back and 7 mm regular up front. I used a carpenters square and laid it on the front face of the wheel to measure how much room I had. Worked well.

Looks good!

Did you have to install longer wheel studs to accommodate the 7mm front spacers?
