I think my Project Minne was similar and from Louisiana. Ok. It wasn't that bad.

I'm more curious how someone in the UK decided to pick up this rust heap from across the pond?
Must have gotten a steal on it to be willing to pay for all the shipping costs to get it to the UK.

Yikes. Seems like a lot of work, and it'll never be nice. With the flanges of fresh metal overhanging the rusty metal I would guess it would just come back. OTOH, if you get it driveable and avoid painting the car, it would be very cool to roll around in something looking like that.
