Thanks to DRACO A5OG and bugstrider
Installed heated seats pads in my car the other day and wanted to thank you for your detailed posts on upholstery removal and heated seat pad installation. And thanks to Pelican for hosting the forums.
I used DRACO A5OG's post here https://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/728149-diy-re-upholstery-front-sport-seats-kit-85-89-a.html for upholstery removal And I used bugstrider's post here https://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/971766-possible-power-supply-aftermarket-heated-seats.html for heated seat pad installation. Very satisfying DIY project and I now know I'll be refinishing my sport seats myself in the future. Patience and time brings great results. |
Kudos to those two. They take the time and go way out of their way to help and do write ups. It’s what makes this place special. Tim

Sorry, I don't have any pictures and honestly, it looks the same as when I started the project. The heated pads are so thin (carbon fiber) I can't tell they have been installed.
