CIS boot removal should be easy, Lol

Removing the boot to replace the leaking red oil pressure sensor sender switch and ran into a snag.

The rear hose clamp has the screw facing up, looks like I will need to do a partial drop to loosen the clamp.

Always a pain to find one of those! When I was in the installation instruction business I always warned people to assemble things with the engine on the stand with an eye towards having the thing in the car and having to remove something. Always orient the fasteners to where you can get at them!

Right angle ratcheting screwdriver.

Dropping the engine a few inches will make it a bit easier to remove the switch.

Walt,

That is the path I am destined to take.

Thanks !

Mission accomplished.

Dropped it about 3 inches and after re moving the CIS hat I was able to access the sender reaching around from the left side D/S using a square mirror mounted on the fire wall , flashlight and a few extensions with a swivel.

Hardest part was getting the motor mounts hooked back up.
