Reference for seat reupholstery in SF Bay Area
I am thinking of having some new seat inserts made for some used recaros I picked up. Wondering if any of you have a good experience with a seat upholster you can refer me to in the SF Bay area.

I've had great experiences with Franzini Bros in San Rafael. Had them do my TR4 seats using somewhat delicate (dry) NOS leather upholstery as well as a 68 Camaro convertible top. Both came out great! Made the mistake of putting a glass rear window in the Camaro. Mike told me what to expect fit wise using a glass window and he was dead on. Brought in my own top and should have taken his advice and exchanged it for the standard plastic one. They are old school and care about quality. Will be back when its time to do my 911 seats and 61 Lincoln convertible top and interior.

Super Auto Upholstery on Dollar St. in Hayward is another top notch shop. I know to get a vehicle in they usually have a 4-5 month wait, don't know if the same applies to bringing in loose seats.

Super Auto Upholstery is great. They do a lot of custom car work but my job was small. Brought in my old driver's seat to my SC. I wanted to keep everything original - just get its shape back. They put in new new foam and stitched up some broken seams. They even added increased bolstering to the cushion at my request. Total bill - $120 and it was a great job.
