Question Weber Accelerator pump linkage

Ok. Weird question, but for anyone with Webers, how much of your pump linkage sticks out past the nuts? Or picture would be good. It doesn't seem like I get enough travel on the pump lever. I know I need to measure volume, but this would give me an idea if I'm way off.
Thanks.

You guys are the best!!
Mine are cranked down much farther, almost to the point that the spring is bound. Now, where did I leave that darned accelerator-linkage-adjustment-nut-wrench.....
Thanks!!
